Biography
He has been teaching and doing research since 1994. Areas of interest include Soft-switching Techniques,Digital Logic Circuits and Power Electronics. In 1997 he was awarded the prestigious Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship for doctoral studies. Dr. Rahman is also a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Rahman holds a bachelors (1994) and a masters (1996) degree both in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from BUET. He obtained his Ph.D.in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 2001.

Analog electronics and circuits, Soft-switching techniques in power Electronics, Digital logic circuits, and power systems.
